Wood, casters, paper, light, porcelain.

Each porcelain form presented on the Table of Contents is derived from a list of adjectives and sculpted in less than 30 minutes. The title is a play on words in relation to a table of contents found at the beginning of a book; a database containing an ordered array of items. The collection of sculptures creates a small habitat, and the viewer is welcome to move the lighting device up and down the table as a way to interact with the object landscape by scrolling it across a physical vocabulary. Aesthetically the installation references a seamless backdrop for photographing art works, a theatrical stage on which the players are the sculptures, construction work/labour, and a surgeon's table lain with tools.
